Crippled

Yep, I won, I came, I yelled, I kicked, I knocked Melb Uni student on his arse, and I kicked him out of the competition...!

I swear, during the fight, I knew I was winning but, at the end i thought I had lost it, 1 minute each round feels like forever! i guess i scraped the victory, beside he did got me balls a few times and got penalised ha. anyway the point is, WHO KICKED MELB UNI's ARSE? RMIT FUCKING DID!

Apparently i was told after the fight, the melb uni guy i faced, has been in yellow belt for 2-3 years, means more experience, against me who just got yellow belt for about....1 week? and also my .....first fight??

Glad my fans....(ashley and devon) came to saw my first ever match and first ever victory in fashion (it was the first fight of the night too). Thanx so much for the support it means a mountain to me! but they left, though the night for me didnt end there.

I had to wait for another 2 hours or so for my next fight, since we had to go through the first round for everyone first. So came my second fight, i had a dirty fight, didnt do well and just after the secoond round started, accident happened.

The opponent was my team mate, his first fight, the guy (from rmit) who meant to face him in the first round didnt show up, so he advance to the final facing me. Anyway i didnt actually know what exactly happened, but i guess it was his foot against my knee and my right knee cap poped out of place outward. I screamed, and rolled on the ground, felt my knee with my hand and there was a late reaction from everyone, maybe they thought it was minor injury. then i yelled out.....dislocated......knee cap....! so everyone rushed in, so i lied on the ground for the next half hour, went through how no one has pop a knee back in, magic (ice) spray sprayed on, ice packs, my pads taken off etc etc, bunch of people saying how feeling? are you okay?

ok so the ambulance officer came, gave me inhaler, and morphine, man i love that stuff, i reckon i can get through life under the influence of morphine. I wasnt crying anyway, i was laughing, everyone i knew was around me! they couldnt bring the stretcher up the stairs so we used a wheelie chair, and it was rough on the way to the van. The good thing is, funny story, true story, outside, the knee poped back in itself because of that, i said i felt twitching, then when we rolled the pants up, its back! and everyone laughed, seriously it was funny, or maybe just the morphine that made me feel no pain.

At the hospital, we did double check, i could walk for abit, limping, and they gave me some massage, i asked for more morphine, the doctor said no. anyway i thought i was stranded in the hospital by myself, my phone, wallet etc etc was in my bag, where;s my bag i had no idea. anyway in the waiting room i saw a sunshine! it was JOYCE!!!

Joyce is a blue belt in our club, she accompany me on the way to the ambo, and she was the scorer for the tourney. I hugged her straight away, JOOOYYCEEE! she said Man (another guy from our club has my bag and was getting food) so i chilled with Joyce for a bit, and then i asked the staff for some crutches, and i still had stuff sticking in my arm, the thing where they inject morphine in, i forgot all about it, i thought i was gonna go home with that still on. the doc said, it may be fine for tonight, but tomorrow morning will be all pain, he reckoned (which is true)

So me Joyce and Man (who bought maccas) were just chatting in the (emergency) waiting area and master quang called and said he'll come after he had food. they were laughing because i was still high on morphine i was laughing all that time. then master quang dropped me off at my house.
-------
the next day, (today) man the trip from my house to the station usually 5 minutes by foot, but this time 20 minutes by foot plus crutches. Anyway, came to class, bragged about my win against mel u, let's just say i was still under the influence of morphine to concentrate, then went home. on the train home funny story, true story, i sat on one of those folding disable people chair and some old asian lady approached me and asked me:
'what are you doing, you should be at home.'
i was totally lost...!
i said 'yes i am on my home'
'yes but why, you should stay at home, *points to my leg'
'yeah i will thank you.'
and she walked away, the girl sitting next to me had a smile on her face, i was like whaaaat?

then the 20 minutes of painful journey back home. when i got home i threw my crutches away and practiced walking again, well it isnt as bad as i thought.
------

the point is, i am so amazed by the people from our club for supporting and caring so much about me, even before the injury when i faced the mel uni guy, i could hear them saying "Go FARI! come on FARI!!"

and how Ashley and Devon kindly came to see my debut. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!

But i kinda feel bad towards Kamalia, she missed her match because she was helping escorting me to the ambo, thanx a bunch bud.

Thanx Matt president, for gathering my stuff, and william and everyone from RMIT TKD club for being around as i lay on the mat in pain. Thanx to the mel uni girl who does final year medical for applying ice packs on and the black belt guy from mel uni too. and Franky, no hard feeling yeah?

Thanx Joyce and Man for waiting for me at the Hospital, and Master Quang for taking me home.
